After a lengthy gap, Metro has decided to start up their amateur line with the release of Nasty Newcomers 15. I actually know a little more about this movie than I do most of them. I actually worked camera on one of the scenes and I got to meet a lot of these newbies before they made the big leap into porn. Director Eric Allen is taking his first turn behind the camera, and working with brand new talent certainly presents a number of problems. If he can survive a few of these videos, who knows where he might end up.

Summer Day starts things off and though she isn't going to be in contention for a Vivid contract any time soon, this girl has a great smile, a totally comfortable manner on camera and a nice set of tits. Starring: Eric Allen is back with a cast of fresh faces who agree to have sex for the first time on video. Like all of amateur videos, the cast, including Summer Day, Kristin, Eva Garner, John Peters, Kayla Fox, and Alyssa Haven, are average lookers, which only adds to the sense of realism.

Strictly, and appropriately, low end shot-on-video stuff. But allen knows how to photograph the action. Each orifice and tool is capture in all its fleshly splendor.

There is an undeniable thrill in watching an 18-year-old "girl next door" take a vibrator in the backdoor and squirm like a champ. But too often the actors look bored. Apparently they haven't learned what the pros know. Shooting pro scenes is a long, repetitive process.

The highlight is the girl-girl between series veteran (I guess that makes her a pro) Kristin, who gives Haven, looking every bit the naive 18-year-old, her first taste of pussy. Though a bit sluggish, the sequence contains some red-hot vibe-in-the-butt action.

Some scenes move slow. And I'm sure many people will find some of the girls less appealing than others. But I would counter that someone like Summer Day, who some guys would find a little too plump and shapeless for on-screen humping, is actually quite believable as the horny gal down the street who you'd love to play with.

As amateur videos go (and most are poor to awful), this one is above average. A 7.
